Education

Clinical Education and Training Program

The Clinical Education and Training Program is designed to improve HIV/AIDS clinical care and treatment through personalized learning programs.  Training is offered to health care professionals and students throughout British Columbia, Canada, and abroad.

This training includes academic courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, continuing education, preceptorship programs, and educational events.  Owing to the complexity of HIV care, the BC-CfE's educational activities are tailored to the specific needs of HIV patients. Online Educational Training: Diagnosis and Management of HIV/AIDS

This online course has been designed to provide all health care professionals in BC with comprehensive and evidence-based knowledge in regards to the diagnosis and management of HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, this course will provide an avenue to advance the accessibility of educational material in order to enhance the quality of clinical practice.
This online training program is aimed to target health care professionals who require background knowledge in HIV/AIDS prior to completing a preceptorship at the Immunodeficiency Clinic (IDC) at St. Paul's Hospital. In addition, this course is also available to health care professionals who already work in the field of HIV/AIDS as a continuing professional development course.
