Better leadership needed, president of International AIDS Society says

A lack of insight and leadership by the federal Conservatives has significantly hindered Canada's fight against HIV/AIDS, says the president of the International AIDS Society.

"Somehow, the federal government, selectively, tries to ignore the advice of those who have been involved successfully in the fight against HIV from day one," said Dr. Julio Montaner, who has spent more than 15 years researching the disease and advocating for harm reduction.
