Today, with the support of the BC Provincial Government, UNAIDS, the World Health Organization, and many others the BC-CfE is launching the Seek and Treat for Optimal Prevention of HIV/AIDS (STOP HIV/AIDS) pilot project. The WHO has declared that global uptake of this initiative would stop 95% of all new HIV cases within 10 years.
This made-in-B.C. strategy has the potential to save more than 7 million lives by 2050. Imagine.
