Join UBC CPD for an engaging multi-presenter webinar that will explore questions physicians have been asking about recommendations to incorporate routine HIV testing in their practices. This webinar is targeted towards family physicians in Vancouver (may be of interest to FPs throughout BC).
The webinar will be presented by Dr. Réka Gustafson, Dr. David Hall, Dr. Gurdeep Parhar and Dr. Marisa Collins. They will consider clinical rationale for routine HIV testing, define HIV testing recommendations, and examine barriers and enablers to testing for HIV in family practice. The discussion will also identify tools and resources to facilitate routine HIV testing and connecting HIV positive patients to care. The webinar is a user friendly format that allows health care professionals to listen and participate from the convenience of their own computer. Physician participants can earn up to 1.5 Mainpro M1 / MOC Section 1 /AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
