Val Montessori, MD, FRCPC, is a Clinical Associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of British Columbia and the co-chair of the Therapeutic Guidelines Committee at the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. She also works at the AIDS Research Program, a collaboration between St. Paul's Hospital and UBC.

Dr Montessori's responsibilities at the BC-CfE include interviewing participants and coordinating outreach efforts for follow-up for VIDUS, ACCESS, and ARYS cohorts, as well as recruitment for ARYS and ACCESS.
